I tested in TA-079 Phat PSP, CFW 3.90 M33-3 and CFW 3.80 M33-5. It works good.
(1) play ISO/CSO games via USB(cwcheatlite-LOADER.prx...also works good.)(UMD Mode, No UMD Mode)
(2) play media files located in PC via USB/WIFI
(3) play UMD Video ISO files via USB/WIFI (ms0:/ISO/VIDEO/*.iso)
(4) access photos located in PC via USB/WIFI

I tested in TA-079 Phat PSP, CFW 3.71 M33-4. Not working

my wifi goes on,
and then is goed off..
like he can't connect..
hostfs is running,
IP settings are correct..

Same problem with Poison. i have 3.90 m33-3 i cant connect to wifi. my ip is correct. My problem i dont know where can i locate my port? please help me & kindly email me pls.

I think you have not correctly setup your psp connection, go to System->Network->Infrastructure Mode create a connection, and make sure the connection entry value of conf.txt is right.

I can't get wifi working either, my settings used to work when I ran IrShell. Sometimes the wifi light comes on and the ui (wifi) stays up and PSP freezes, other times the light comes on and goes out again (aswell as the ui)

Ok these probably noob questions but...is the password part in the config my wep password? and what is the port part? Whenever I switch to wifi on my psp it just locks up on the screen but doesn't turn off, therefore i guess it doesn't crash. What am i doing wrong?

it's login password of nethostfs, if you don't pass -l xxxxx to nethostfs_pc, just ignore that value.

is there a way to do keypad redirection like irshell if not it should comeout in next version i hope im also hoping you can make it work with homebrew/emulators and psx titles if it isnt possible this still is a excelent release

hey tested this app on 3.90M33-3 and works great iso/cso loading through wifi isnt so good but media through wifi's near perfect and usb mode works like a charm :) nice app cant wait for more releases :)

if your having problems with wifi make sure your firewall is letting nethostfs access your network

what does the key redirection has to do with this app? I think you are probably looking for another app. I think that this one should be kept as simple as possible and that is: allowing to use files on the PC on the PSP.
Of course it's not my application so I'm not the one to decide :)

Running v1.1 On PSP slim. 3.90m33-2 MP3 works fine, movies work fine (although stream very choppy, prob the encode rate on my end for movie) games show up in the list but as soon as you run one the nethostfs.exe says shutting down connection and the psp locks up and reboots. thanks for such great software :) I hope you get the bugs out as I think its great

I can not get USBHostFS_PC MacOSX or NeHostFS_PC MacOSX to work on my mac.

Games tested so far on HostCore 1.1 and usbhost_fs
PC: WinXP Sp. 2, folder on NTFS partition,
PSP: phat, cfw 3.90m33-3, Normal mode

* Astonishia Story R:
[Save] Not working. Able to choose save-point but then usbhost_fs reports: "Couldn't stat file /cygdrive/path-to-my-hosted-directory/PSP/SAVEDATA/ULUS10083DATA00".
[Load] I have no saves so I can't test it.
[Exit] What I find interesting is that when I try to exit game for the first time after PSP reset then it goes fine. When I try to exit again it hangs.
* Dynasty warriors:
[Save] OK I think.
[Load] OK
[Exit] hangs.
[Comments] It hangs when loading game state in Musou mode. Next time it hung after loading state.
* Frogger: Helmet Chaos:
[Save] Attempt to save at the beginning of the game fails with error 8011038B. I have browsed through google and it seems that this error can be fixed by formatting the MS. Some guy (http://www.answerbag.com/q_view/369522) says it may be something with the card name and renaming it will help. Therefore I think that it may be a problem with the way that MS is read by some games. Maybe...

I went to the source code url and fetched it from SVN, but
it seems that usbhostfs_pc is missing. I can only find the
wifi version (nethostfs_pc) there.

I would really like the usbhostfs_pc source code too (i'm
using Linux and cannot use the win or osx binaries)

It would be great if you could add that source to the SVN

usbcorefs_pc (only netcorefs_pc).

own SVN repo on http://code.google.com/p/hostcore-psp/source/checkout

You might want to change the include path so it finds usbhostfs.h there too, otherwise it wont build at all.
(It's currently "-I../usbhostfs")

hi i have 3.90m33 when i use the hostcore 1.0 i work good but it will not let me save, but when i use the 1.1 it will not lode the game but it will lode music. help if you can.

How accepted new connection in nethostfs?

I'm almost there. I can connect via USB/WiFi and can see my photos, isos, etc... but all my games fail to start. This happens on both USB and Wifi. In the dialog box when trying USB I get the following... "Couldn't start file /cygdrive/f/PSP Host/PSP/GAME/EBOOT.PBP%/EBOOT.PBP (No such file or directory). Any ideas?

Anonymous, what firmware do you have and what ISO mode do you have set up on the PSP? Try to rename the "PSP Host" directory so that it doesn't contain any spaces, maybe that'll help.

im havin problem starting games, i find them in the menu.. but when im gonna start them i only get a blackscreen..

im using usb-mode, 390 m33

Thanks for the quick response. 3.90 M33-2 and I tried all the ISO mode options. Thing is, my music and pics work great. I can also see the games listed but when I select them it eventually takes me back to the main menu. I also recreated my folder stucture now so that its just PSP instead of PSP Host. When trying it USB you can hear the Windows sound like a USB device is connecting and then disconnecting and on wireless it connects and then disconnects, then connects one more time before kicking me out to he main menu again. I'm sure it's something simple but I'm missing it.

The sound of disconnecting device in Windows when you run the game is fine. It should disconnect and reconnect after end of the XMB outro.
Does the game fail to start with some particular error?

Maybe try to reinstall the plugin or backup the stuff on the MS, uninstall the plugin, format it and install it again.

hi, i cant get this to setup with my wifi router, i had it working once. then it fell offline and i cant get it back on. anyway is there any way to make usbhostfs and hostcore reconnect to each other, after quiting a game via usb. Basically when i quit a game in hostcore usb mode i have to restart my psp and usbhostfs and then reconnect hostcore 1.1, i can live with this but it would be nice to not have to keep doing this. i could then leave my pc on permanently to serve my iso's and other stuff which would be cool. i'll just need a 500GB HDD then.

Everything works fine for me except loading iso through wifi. I do get it to connect, I can view the games on my pc, but when it goes to load the iso, it disconnects from nethost, and then reconnects, but then my psp just freezes with the memory light on. do I need to switch the umd mode to the m33 or sony no umd?

After playing with this for a week now I finally got everything to work. Originally I could see my iso's using USB or Wifi but they wouldn't play. Both ways would try to start but eventually freeze. So with nothing else to lose, I tried it on my Vista machine and the USB version worked flawlessly (imagine that). So I tried the Wifi hoping for the same results. It would try to connect but would hang for some reason. I actually got farther using my XP machine when trying Wifi. That being said, I right clicked on nethostfx.exe and created a shortcut. Right clicked on the shortcut, went to Properties, then Compatibility, and told it to run in Windows XP mode. Tried it again and everything worked. :) Granted it took some time playing around to get it to work but it's worth the effort. Thanks for giving us such a great app.

with the exact folder structure and commands i have to put in the .bat file:
"nethostfs.exe -c 4 -d 20" won't work. IP address in the config file is the address of my PC
PSP freezes when i select WiFi with HostCore.
USB works but gives me this error:
"Could not scan directory /cygdrive/c/usbhostfs-pc/PSP/GAME150/ "
I get this message when i select a file on my PSP that's not on my PC, so i also get this with GAME and GAME380...??
